Amazing BBQ...great coleslaw and hush puppies...the baked beans have a nice spicy kick...true southern BBQ for a very fair price.

I've eaten here several times being my local and this past weekend I have to say left alot to be desired.

This little place is a "must visit" when in Myrtle Beach. We had the baby back ribs and they were delicious! They smoke the meat on site for 8 hours and serve them with their own sauces on the side. The cole slaw, baked beans and hushpuppies were excellent (and the fried corn on the cob sounded delicious although we didn't try it). Brittany, our waitress, was friendly, fun and helpful. We loved her. Highly recommend it!

The food is excellent and the customer service was exceptional! We drove by and decided to stop! What a gem. Thanks for the experience!

The simple life. Barbecue & Burgers to die for! No wonder this plain, old fashioned venue has little seating available most of the time, they are just too good. Straightforward friendly service, damn good food, fast, hot and a relaxed, laid back feel.

Great BBQ at a great price. I didn’t expect to like a bacon wrapped hot dog as much as I did. The spicy red sauce was great as was the spicy mustard sauce. The unsung hero was the grilled bread. Visit - you won’t be disappointed.

Ate here while visiting the area. I devoured my large bbq sandwich. It was so tender and delicious. I will be back.

Awesome non-touristy atmosphere, great smell the second you're out of your car, and dang their fries are good! Their pulled pork melted in our mouths, and the bbq burger was dank. An easy decision that we'll return!

Great food. Service lacked a little something. But overall it was a good experience. Good sauces especially the sweet bbq. I had the chicken tender sandwich which was great.

Everything was perfect. I don't remember a meal were every single thing was delicious. Ribs were awesome and pork soo tasty. Service was super nice and helpful. We had a great family meal!

Ate here once on our vacation and has quickly turned to our go to place. The best bbq ever! Our kids loved the chicken strips and the hush puppies melt in your mouth.

This place is one of my favorite spots to eat. From the ribs to the fried corn to the wings. Everything is good eating. If you have never been u definitely need to go.

This place is incredible! We stopped in and had some fresh bbq straight out of the smoker. The service was fast and friendly, the owner talked to us and was very nice. I will go here a lot!

Average bbq, nothing to write home about. Disappointed that I was told the fried corn cob order came with 2. It was one cut in half. The brisket okay, but not very tender. The spicy sauce was probably the only redeeming factor from the meal.

Hands down my favorite BBQ restaurant anywhere around the Carolina Coast line! I was raised on Hush Puppies and these are incredible! Coleslaw is very fresh, crisp with a light vinegar snap to it. My son does not like Coleslaw, but will eat it here. Pork seasoned and smoked so well you don't need a sauce, but they provide several flavors for those who desire. The wings are smoked so well they fall off of the bone trying to eat. BBQ beans, corn on the cob... I have had everything on the menu, never a disappointment. I like 16 hours away, and I go to this place every time I travel to the area

Little BBQ shack with great food. Smokers out back and friendly wait staff. I had the half rack of baby back ribs with Slaw and BBQ beans. The ribs were delicious and the sauces they have were all tasty with the mustard one being my favorite. Great place to grab quick, comfort food when coming from the beach.

No frills, no gimmicks barbecue restaurant. We made it her before 5PM which is the best time to go as all the food is still available. They cook all the food throughout the day but if they run out....so has your luck. Our friends went again later during the week, at 7PM to find all but the cheeseburgers sold out.Our order this afternoon included: ribs, wings, fries, pulled pork and each item was as delicious as the next. Everything is smoked and comes seasoned though w/o sauce. They allow you to try all their sauces by placing them on the tables.We sat outside, which we will not do again as we soon were visited by an army of fat blue flies! We chose outside as the inside is heavily air-conditioned, which feels good at first though becomes too cold soon after. Next time we'll do take out!

Nice and divey! A bit of a shack, but i love mom-n-pop spots! The smell of smoked meat is instant and oh so good. Got the half rack just to try them out... should have gotten a FULL. No worries will be back to pick up a snack.

We own a beach house in Fairway oaks. We used to go here ALL the time for some great bbq and fried chicken! However 2019-2020 the food quality really went down when they got a new chef. In the BBQ there a chunks of fat and gristle and almost inedible. The chicken is all right... Bojangles is probably better. One day we were eating and a roach crawled across my napkin and we alerted the waitress with blonde short hair and she said oh sorry about that and didn’t do anything. Also the owner of Old south (an older man who you can find smoking outside) threw up in front of us while we were eating. I used to love this restaurant but now we won’t go back. I’m only giving it a two because it used to be our favorite.

Our waitress was super kind, attentive, and gave suggestions that helped us decide what to order. Food was tasty and brought out in a timely manner during their lunch "rush", it's a tiny place. Too bad we waited until our last day visiting because we would definitely go back! The fried corn on the cob was great! Best chopped/pulled pork I've had! Pair it with one or two of their sauces and it bumps it up a notch. The sweet and unsweetened tea were also refreshing! I really wish I remembered our waitress' name because I would give her a raise, hint hint to the owners, but I do know, even though she's pregnant, she was very attentive to all her customers and has been the best waitress while visiting the area!

Ribs were better than most. Slaw and potato salad were average. My biggest complaint was they gave me four small cups of bbq sauce for 2 full dinners. A full rack of ribs and a pulled pork dinner. Not even close to being enough. The other issue is the prices online were not correct so when we showed up the total was more than $ $12.00 more than we expected.

This is a place to visit!!! Small but fantastic! Ate here on a whim because everyone says the food is great. They were right! Went at 5 on Friday night and wasn’t busy. The food was so yummy! I even ordered some to take home! My 4 kiddos ate everything and that’s hard! Good prices and the sweet and mild sauces are yum!!

Just had the ribs here and they were fantastic! Literally falling off the bone and really tasty. Among the best I've ever had!! All of the staff were really friendly and helpful too. Go there, you won't regret it!!

Save your money and go somewhere else. We read some other reviews that made us skeptical but we decided to try it for ourselves because we like finding hidden gems but this wasn’t one of them. We got ribs, pulled pork and “smoked wings” but none of it had any smoke flavor. The smoker out front makes you think everything is fresh and cooked daily but the pork tasted like it was a few days old. We hate to waste food but we ended up throwing half a rack of ribs away because it was so bad. I really wanted to like this place but it was terrible.

I eat here quite a bit and it has NEVER disappointed. The pulled pork is tender, the sauce is great and the portions are generous. The people who left bad reviews must have had a one time bad experience or have unrealistic expectations. This place is the best and I was raised in the south on BBQ!

Loved this place!!! The barbecue, corn on the cob, and barbecue beans were delicious! We like to eat at local places and support small businesses...We are not into buffets and chain restaurant food. The food was not only delicious, but our waitress treated us like old friends. Met a retired army veteran here too. We will definitely be back. Price was very reasonable!

We loved this place! Great food (had the rack of ribs, cole slaw fresh-cut fries - YUM!), service, atmosphere...and just fun. Our waitress was excellent (Thanks Brittany!) Oh...and get a side order of their hush puppies, you won't be sorry!
